Prizes Announced for AI Innovation Grand Challenge

Below we are listing all of the prizes that the Grand Prize winner and 2 runner up finalists in our AI Innovation Grand Challenge will receive from competition sponsors.
For the most part, sponsorships are for in-kind donations meant to be directly useful to those developing and implementing AI-driven climate solutions.
The Grand Prize winner will benefit from sponsored attendance of COP 29, taking place in Baku, Azerbaijan in November where the winner of the competition will be formally announced.

Kove will award the top three teams $5 million in credits to use Kove:SDM™, its Software-Defined Memory technology.

Red Hat will award the top three teams $300,000 in credits for Red Hat OpenShift AI on AWS (ROSA), a fully managed cloud service that empowers organizations to rapidly build and deploy artificial intelligence and machine learning models.

We believe that by fostering open collaboration and providing access to sustainable technologies, we can accelerate the development of AI solutions that address environmental concerns,” says Sandro Mazziotta, Director, Technology Strategy at Red Hat.

Amazon Web Services
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is awarding a total of $250,000 in AWS Service credits to the top three teams. The grand prize winner and two runners-up can use the AWS Services credits to access AWS’s comprehensive cloud computing platform, which offers a vast array of on-demand services including computing power, storage, databases, and more.
