The Enterprise Neurosystem is Supporting the AI For Climate Action Award 2025

The Enterprise Neurosystem is collaborating with the UNFCCC TEC, the UNFCCC CTCN, and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in their AI For Climate Action Award 2025 initiative.

This competition aims to recognize and promote open-source AI-driven solutions that directly address the challenges of climate change adaptation and mitigation in least developed countries (LDCs) and small island developing States (SIDS). The focus will be on innovations for low-emission and climate-resilient practices in various sectors such as agriculture, energy, water, waste management, transportation, early warning systems, healthcare, and more.

The winner of this competition will be invited to COP30 in Brazil to inpire a global audience. For more information on the competition and to make a first round submission (maximum 300 words), click here. The deadline for submissions is July 31, 2025.

Enterprise Neurosystem Founder and Chair Bill Wright will be one of the judges for the competition. This collaboration continues the Enterprise Neurosystem’s strategy of leveraging competitions in partnership with other organizations to raise awareness of climate change issues and to accelerate innovation on potential solutions.

In 2024, the Enterprise Neurosystem worked with the UNFCCC to host the the AI Innovation Grand Challenge, which attracted 114 solution proposals from 62 countries. That competition built upon a 2023 partnership with AIM for Climate dubbed AIM for Climate Grand Challenge: Leveraging the Power of AI and Machine-Learning.
